Adult Education Program
The Byron Syring DELTA Center is pleased to offer an adult education program. The DELTA Center is one of only two GED testing centers in the San Luis Valley. The DELTA Center is contracted by Rio Grande Social Services to provide adult education services. The DELTA Center has a long history (since 1973) of helping adults successfully reach their educational goals.
Regional adults who would like to complete a high school diploma or take the GED exam qualify for the DELTA Center's FREE program if you are 17 years old and a resident of the San Luis Valley (including South Fork & Creede)
Priority is given to TANF eligible students (single parents, low income families), but all are welcome.
To enroll in the DELTA Center's adult education program, please stop-by in-person & speak with one of our adult education advisers. If possible, please bring a transcript from the school you most recently attended (this will speed up your planning). But if you don't have one, no worries, we can get that for you if needed. Once we have your transcript we can outline a plan for attaining either a diploma or a GED.

- Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm September through May, following the Monte Vista School District calendar for breaks and holidays. Please arrive before 6:30 pm to receive services.
