To enroll at the DELTA Center:
  • Enroll with Monte Vista High School.
  • Be referred to the DELTA Center by the MVHS principal & counselor.
  • Be accepted by the DELTA Center director (after completing an application, going through an entrance interview with the principal.
Once enrolled, students can work in classes to earn a high school diploma or prepare to pass the GED.

The DELTA Center's primary function is existential (not just academic), and it is to serve the needs of high risk students to help them gain the skills and knowledge necessary for success beyond secondary school.

In addition to the daytime AEC program, the Byron Syring DELTA Center also offers an evening adult education program (offering Rio Grande County adult residents access to classes to support acquiring an adult diploma or passing the GED).
